Doggy Steps

A lot of people believe that assembling doggy steps is a no-brainer task. This might be true for some brands, but not for the majority. A lot of these steps that are sold in the market today come with pieces that should be snapped together. Anyone can easily assemble these parts by following these simple guidelines that the instructional materials included in the purchased product might not provide.

Of course, the person should familiarize himself first with the parts. Most brands include this part, so this should come easy. One idea to avoid confusion among parts is to lay these out on a flat surface like the floor or the top of the table. It is advised that the laying out of the parts should somewhat be similar to their arrangement once assembling is done.

After the layout is done, the parts of the doggy steps that appear to be similar should be clustered together, so that finding them will be a lot easier. Most of the pieces look like the steps of a staircase, while the others might look like the edges of it. Carpets or fleece covering might also come with the product. The screws and bolts might be included, but they aren’t usually included in most brands.

Locate the spaces or slots where the steps fit with the other parts. This should say where the back part of the steps slides. Once found, the assembler should slide in the pieces before anything else. If the slides appear at a 90 degree angle and are attached to form the outline of the back of the steps, these pieces will definitely connect with each other. Otherwise, re-arranging the pieces will do the trick.

Any coverings that come with the steps should be put last, so that they will not be removed every now and then if there are errors with the setup process.

Of course, these guidelines might have been already included in the manual, but it will not hurt to review these steps. After all, doggy steps should always be done in top quality to ensure the safety of the dogs that will use it.
